FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car crash in Chalfont St Peter this morning to deal with a suspected fuel leak.

The traffic collision, which involved four cars, took place in Leachcroft.

One fire crew from Gerrards Cross attended the scene after it was believed there had been a fuel leak.

The firefighters did not find any leak after examining the incident, but had to administer first aid to one woman.

Surely the people at the scene must have know if there had been a fuel leak as petrol/diesel has a very distinctive smell.

Did they not have an ambulance with paramedics in attendance to give first aid or are the firemen doing the job of the ambulance service these days? I would not fancy a trip to Stoke Mandeville in the back of a fire engine!

Sounds like new girl 'Ember' should have been deployed to sniff the leak out!

Have a biscuit.

Good dog!
