Forest Green Rovers 2 Wycombe Wanderers 0.

WANDERERS fell to their first defeat of their pre-season campaign going down 2-0 at Conference side Forest Green Rovers this afternoon.

The Blues fell behind after just two minutes as Andy Mangan became the first player to score against them this pre-season and an 86th minute second from Les Afful proved decisive.

It could have been even worse with Scott Shearer saving a second half penalty from Lee Fowler and then Afful heading wide of an open goal.

Wycombe, who used 22 players offered little in return and were well beaten by the Conference side.
