There is a lot of student accommodation out towards Hughenden road and Temple End seems to be an ideal pedestrian rat-run for late night revellers. So I can see why a young lady may be down that way on her own at stupid o'clock in the morning. I have witnessed many foolish acts by youngsters in that area, vandalism, attacks on taxi drivers, intimidation of the residents etc. at all hours of the night (I enjoy a late night drink myself). I can only see this getting worse if they ever build the new halls of residence further along Hughenden road. If anyone has ever seen the queue to get in the Litten Tree at around 11 o'clock on the Tuesday student night, then you'll know how many yoofs are about in the evening. I hope the authorities will take into account the impact of increased revellers in the area and look to improve safety for everyone. Get some coppers on the streets.

Isn't this the the second or third attack in as many weeks? A description of the offender would help, simply saying if anyone saw anything suspicious is not good enough.
