PRINCES Risborough is preparing to be honoured as it receives an award for this year's win in the Buckinghamshire Best Kept Village Competition.
The Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher will head up the presentation party, which will visit Risborough High Street on Saturday, September 6 at around 11.35am.
The group will also make stops at other winning locations in Bucks.
Princes Risborough, despite being classed as a town, won the Pushman Cup in the competition.
The category focuses on places with a rural population of more than 3,000 people.
