THIS Sunday will see ramblers breaking out their walking boots for the Chilterns Country Walk.

The eight-mile-long route begins at Chinnor Nature Reserve and descends into Bledlow, following sections of the Ridgeway and the Icknield Way.

The walk, described as moderate to strenuous, features a number of ascents and descents but will reward intrepid walkers with spectacular views and woodland and wildflower habitats along the was.

Anyone wanting to take part is asked to bring water, especially if the weather is warm.

The walk begins at 10am at Chinnor Hill Nature Reserve Car Park, but for more information contact WDC Ranger Service on 01494 421 825 or email Ranger_Services@wycombe.gov.uk
