Reward offered in Wycombe burglary probe
A £1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and charge of two men who threatened a woman with a knife in her High Wycombe home.
The woman was at home with her two young children when the men called at the flat in Windrush Drive between 2.30pm and 3pm on August 31.
The pair, one of which was seen carrying a knife, went inside and threatened her before making off with Asian gold jewellery and cash.
Det Con Ami Chapple, of Force CID in High Wycombe, said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim who was with her two young children at the time.
“I am hoping the reward being offered by Crimestoppers will encourage someone to come forward with information which will help us catch the men responsible for this despicable crime.”
One of the men was described as white, in his mid-twenties, smartly dressed, with short dark hair and a goatee beard.
The second was black, mid to late twenties, with short hair and he was wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with any information can contact Det Con Chapple on the 24-hour non-emergency 101 police enquiry line.
Charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information called into 0800 555 111 that leads to an arrest and charge.
