A WOMAN was threatened by two men wielding a metal pole before having her phone stolen in an attack in Hazlemere this week.

At 10.26pm on Monday, the victim was walking along Hill Avenue with a 19-year-old woman.

Two men then threatened her with a metal pole and demanded her gold iPhone 5S, which was then taken.

A further two men came to the woman’s aid and challenged the robbers, but they fled with the stolen phone.

The first suspect is white, in his early twenties, 5ft 5in and slim. He had dark hair with a short straight fringe and stubble round his chin and was wearing a dark hooded top with dark trousers.

The second is white with a pale complexion, in their early twenties, 5ft 5in and of a broad build. He had dark hair with a short fringe.

He was wearing a dark hooded top, a dark coloured scarf covering his face and baggy dark trousers.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen them in the area or anyone acting suspiciously.

Officers are especially keen to speak to the two men who stood up to the robbers.
