What do you like about it? It’s friendly and I’m with all my mates. It is handy as I live down the road. It is good banter- you know everyone and it’s a good laugh. It is one of the last local pubs in town. It is local people after work, in the evenings and at the weekend. A lot of the pubs you go to in the evening and no-one knows each other. Here is how they all used to be 20 years ago.
How long have you been coming here? About eight years.
What do you usually drink? John Smith’s.
Do you have a normal spot? I usually stand by the bar in front of the bar. I don’t sit down and I stagger out.
Do pubs still have a place in today’s society? Of course. They must. It is one of the British pubs. You want decent pubs.
