A 59-YEAR-old man was stabbed on Friday night at a pub in High Wycombe.
At about 6.30pm police were called to The Pheasant pub in London Road at the junction with Gordon Road.
On arrival officers immediately secured the scene after they discovered a 59-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest area.
Police spokesman, Chris Kearney, said a 60-year-old man, known to the victim, was arrested.
Ian Jackson, 60, from Bank Street, Wycombe Marsh has since been charged with GBH with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a 12 inch kitchen knife.
The injured man was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital. His injuries have now been confirmed as non life threatening
