FLOODING has caused motorway havoc this morning, with the slip road from the M40 onto the M25 clockwise closed in both directions.

Severe delays are reported, with three lanes shut on the M25 and motorists facing heavy queues.

The entry slip road from the M40 has been closed in both directions due to flooding on the M25 clockwise at junction16.

Queues are reported on the M40 from junction 2, Beaconsfield, and on the M25 through to junction 13, Staines.

Lanes one, two and three of the junction 16 section of the M25 are flooded, with all traffic using lane four, with no access from the M40 in either direction.

Drivers can still access the anticlockwise carriageway from the M40.

More importantly ... problems on the roads in Aylesbury caused gridlock all around Stoke Mandeville. Ambulances were having a torrid time. Hope nobody needs to get to SM Hospital in a hurry. Am surprised that the BFP haven't picked up on this yet.

I'm surprised with the amount of flooding that there aren't more reports about it. Other news sites appear to be reporting more about Bucks than the BFP at the moment.
