A STOKENCHURCH business has for the fourth time been recognised nationally for its undergraduate placement scheme.

Software company, ProspectSoft, won the award for best small to medium employer placement provider at The National Undergraduate Employer Awards.

It has been running a placement scheme for more than ten years employing students from universities across the UK.

During their year long placement, students work on the phones, learn about the software and develop sales and demonstration skills.

It takes on between five and ten undergraduate students each year- the majority of which are then offered graduate jobs, either the at the company itself or in some other organisations.

Some students have gone on to work at companies such as KPMG and Deloitte and one is now a director at ProspectSoft.

The award was granted by Rate My Placement, which reviews and rewards placement schemes and also recognises previous placement students for their contributions.

ProspectSoft was shortlisted as one of five companies and they made a video as their final piece of evidence for the award, which they took for the third consecutive year.

Stuart McLaren, sales and marketing director, said: "We truly believe that it is a key way for us as country to accelerate to the future and remain world beaters.

"We are delighted that our passion and commitment to placement students has been recognised by Rate My Placement once again this year."
