A NEW children’s play park will be officially opened in Marlow tomorrow after £30,000 was spent improving and updating the equipment.
Located between Marlow C of E and Holy Trinity School on Sandygate Close, the play area had been in disrepair for some time.
But it has been given an overhaul thanks to funding from housing agency Red Kite with support from residents.
The cash was granted from Red Kite’s Neighbourhood and Environmental budget, and was used to resurface the play area and install new equipment in time for summer.
Applications for neighbourhood improvements can be made by filling out a form on Red Kite’s website http://redkitehousing.org.uk/neighbourhood-and-environmental-improvements
