Misbourne students due to return from New York tomorrow

The Misbourne The Misbourne

A GROUP of sixth form students from Great Missenden are due back home tomorrow morning after a killer storm left them in the USA during a school trip in New York.

A group of 31 sixth form students and three members of staff from The Misbourne were left stranded in the city on an Arts and Culture trip.

The group who were staying near Times Square found themselves in the eye of the New York hurricane named Superstorm Sandy as it hit Monday night and their flight home yesterday was suspended.

They are now due to return home tomorrow morning.

The group will have to make a 200 mile trip to Baltimore to catch a flight back to Heathrow as they have been unable to get a flight back to Heathrow from New York airports for the whole group.
