YEAR 4 children at High Wycombe CofE Combined School were shown how to produce a newspaper front page during a visit this morning from Bucks Free Press editor Steve Cohen.
Mr Cohen showed them how to make up six different splashes with exactly the same material – and then he asked pupils to chose their favourite one.
The front page was a spoof story containing a picture of the same Year 4 class that had been sent to him in advance.
The article told how Mr Cohen was so dull that his talk sent children to sleep – and they then had to be rescued by police because he was boring them so much.
The BFP chief said: “Hopefully, the story isn’t any way true. I gave exactly the same talk to Mr Mason’s Year 4 class last year, and they invited me back today – so I couldn’t have been that boring, could I?”
