THE results of the Police and Crime Commissioner elections are starting to filter through this morning.

The Thames Valley result is not expected until early this afternoon.

  • 11.57am The First count is in for Chiltern District Council.

  • At 11.40am  after the counts for the first three areas have come in Conservative candidate Anthony Stansfeld is ahead.

First turnout figures in at 10.43am:

  • Aylesbury Vale announce total number of ballot papers verified is 18,746. Turnout was 13.9%.

The turnout for Thames Valley looks set to revealed at about 11.30am.

A straw poll shows 80% of police officers didn't bother ... what does that tell you? The election cost nearly 100 million ... that would have put 3000 extra police on the streets ... we really have lost the plot !!!

13.3% turnout for the Thames Valley according to the BBC, including spoiled ballots.
