Residents get chance to speak on Marlow's 'anti yob zone'

A PIONEERING anti-yob zone in Marlow will come under the spotlight on Monday night as residents get a chance to air their views on the trial.

An experimental policing area, which gives officers the power to banish potential troublemakers for 24 hours, was set up in March.

The dispersal zone is in operation around Gunthorpe Road and police say so far it has been successful in lowering the number of reports of anti-social behaviour.

A public meeting on Monday will enable townsfolk to grill council and police chiefs.

It will be chaired by Councillor Richard Scott.

Speakers include Inspector Ray Wilks, youth worker Matthew Woolley and Dr David O’Halloran from Mediation Bucks.

It takes place from 7pm at the Marlow Christian Fellowship Hall at Foxes Piece School, Newfield Road, Marlow, SL7 1JW.

I think the main improvement to this scheme is to toughen it up. I think the police should be allowed to taser youths for crimes such as littering and wearing baseball caps backwards.

These little scum in Marlow that cause all this trouble do need to be hit hard. They all come from scabby backgrounds where the parents, probably just parent, are also scabs who has never worked, never will yet the state continues to fund their pointless lives. In my oppinion they should all be steralised so as to ensure they are kept out of the gene pool for good then proper people can go about their lives and not be hindered by these pointless cretins. God when is the bennefit system going to be changed so that the career benefit claimers are kept away from society and can all live together underground some where out of sight? What a wonderful world it would be!!

There's this woman down my street who's got four kids and hasn't worked in 20 years. All that time she's claimed benefit. What a liberty! She should get out and find a job. I don't care if she's 83, I'm not paying for her out of my taxes!

And she is porbably recieving more than the average wage in benefits when all is concidered like rent, council tax etc as well as her allowance for 'living'. She has never worked, her kids will probably never work, they will all have 4 or 5 kids each that will never work.... And so the cretins out breed real people.

... and that is what's wrong with Britain today.... that and the bleeding heart brigade who champion the causes of said work shy, parasitic dross of society using human rights legislation and loop holes to bleed this country dry. You want benefits ... no problem but you contribute first. you take nothing out unless you put something in. This rant is not only targeted at the low lifes in this article but any immigrant coming from overseas. The country is broke, those that give can give no more. We cannot be the dustbin of Europe and if Brussels doesn't like it .... tough! Rant over ..thanks.

Tigeran - I think you need to read the post you are quoting again. A post that has been put there out of humour not malice.

It doesn't say she has never worked it says she has not worked for 20 years - and given her age that has been stated that would mean since she has retired!

Funny post Tudor Bush - not so funny response tigeran ;-p

Could not agree more. Like you say, if you have never contributed then you have obviously never worked (actual and proven disabilities aside) and therefore should not be entitled to ANYTHING least of all children as those on benefits seem to generally cause trouble as they have no respect for real people.Cannot understand why they are given houses to live in?! Big warehouses with dormitories is still too good!

Yes humour (although not eveyone appreciates irony) - it is talking about somebody retired not some scrounger who has never worked a day in their life.

You have banged on about them never working and having children that have never worked.

Are you sure you read it again or did you just read your comment again?

I was starting to question my sanity ha ha.

On the view of the story though I have to say that the disbursement order has made a huge difference - I live on this estate and work hard for my home. I have been made to feel intimidated a number of times and had my car vandalised. A majority of the "youths" (I don't really like that term) are polite and treat their neighbouts with respect but there is a small group that is just vile.

I have been made to feel intimidated a number of times and had my car vandalised. A majority of the "youths" (I don't really like that term) are polite and treat their neighbouts with respect but there is a small group that is just vile. listerps2

And she is porbably recieving more than the average wage in benefits when all is concidered like rent, council tax etc as well as her allowance for 'living'. She has never worked, her kids will probably never work, they will all have 4 or 5 kids each that will never work.... And so the cretins out breed real people.
Have read it and think you ought to read it again too! Humour?!!!
Yes humour (although not eveyone appreciates irony) - it is talking about somebody retired not some scrounger who has never worked a day in their life. You have banged on about them never working and having children that have never worked. Are you sure you read it again or did you just read your comment again?
Yes you are right!! What a doughnut! Sorry about that, need to read more carefully next time!

Yes, I have witnessed many an incident in Marlow involving these pond life and I am sorry but they need to be got rid of as all they do is make decent peoples lives a misery. I know for a fact that most of them come from families that dont give two hoots about anyone else. They are gutter trash.
