Credit company to leave Marlow

A COMPANY specialising in credit risk is shutting down its office in Marlow.

Experian, based in Dedmere Road, is closing and moving its operations to Nottinghamshire.

The firm told the Free Press the closure has affected less than ten staff, though it did not give a specific number.

Workers are not being made redundant in the process, it said.

In a statement, Experian said: "After a review of our business locations, we have taken the decision to propose the transfer of the work carried out in our Marlow office to our office in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire which would result in the closure of the Marlow office.

"We have spoken to the small number of people impacted by this and will continue to work with them and support them through the process which includes exploring relocation and redeployment opportunities."
