CIGARETTES worth £4,350 have been stolen from a Co-op store.

Three men were seen breaking into the store in Bells Hill Green, Stoke Poges, before scarpering in a silver 4x4 vehicle which drove into Holly Bush Hill.

An Isuzu 4x4 vehicle was later found on fire in Chapel Lane a short distance away.

Police today revealed details of the theft, which occurred on November 13 about 11.20pm.

Officers believe the vehicle on fire was an Isuzu Trooper registration E 252 MVR which was stolen from Datchet Sailing Club on November 12.

Police said the first man is of a large build, about 5ft 10ins and he was wearing a blue top with a silver hood underneath and a dark jeans.

The second man is slim, about 5ft 11ins, and was wearing a grey hood and dark bottoms; he was carrying a large green plastic bag. The third man is slim, about 5ft 11ins and was wearing a grey hooded top.

Det Con Daniel Spiers from Burnham police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or anyone who is aware of someone who has acquired a large quantity of cigarettes.

“If you can identify any of the men involved in this incident please contact police.”
