A CROWD of more than 200 people attended the fifth Princes Risborough Tree of Light at the weekend.

The Dedication Ceremony is organised by the Rotary Club of Princes Risborough and the lights were switched on by town Mayor Gary Hall.

There was a record number of almost 400 dedications to loved ones lost, which were displayed on the Dedication Boards.

Sally Dussek and Friends provided music and the Reverend James Tomkins led the service. Funds raised are shared between the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and Rotary charities.

Rotary Club President Tom Winkworth said dedications had raised nearly £20,000 in the last five years.

Dedications can continue to be made until the end of the year and the list of dedications will appear in the Free Press in the new year.
