CAR keys were stolen from homes in two burglaries that hit Stokenchurch in the early hours of last Friday.
Between 1.30am and 4am intruders broke into a house in Marcourt Road while the occupants were asleep and stole the keys of a vehicle but they did not drive the car.
Police said they also broke into a house in Springfield Road between 1.30am and 4am.
After stealing the car keys from the house they attempted to escape in a vehicle parked on a driveway but they were disturbed.
As a result, they reversed the vehicle into a bush and ran off.
Two white men wearing dark clothes were seen in the area, one of them had a black woollen hat and a padded jacket. He was of slim build and about 5ft.
