STUDENTS helped to make this Christmas more of a cracker for residents of Catherine Court Nursing Home by putting on a festive lunch at the University.
Building on the success of last year’s festive event, residents of the Cressex Road nursing home were once again welcomed to Buckinghamshire New University.
Alongside the turkey, roasties and Christmas pudding served up by the students, the OAPs "thoroughly enjoyed" getting into the Christmas spirit as and were in full voice for traditional carols.
Alice Dewsnap, Volunteering and Societies Coordinator at Bucks Students’ Union, said: "We’re so happy that the residents and staff from Catherine Court could join us again this year, and we’re looking forward to visiting them for lunch in the new year."
