THE school attended by the two young brothers who died in the M6 tragedy on Christmas Day has passed its condolences on to the grieving family.

Brothers Adnan Habib, aged ten, and four-year-old Mohammed Arsalaan Habib both died in the crash on the M6 on Tuesday, along with their aunt, 32-year-old Bushra Tazarib.

All three were from High Wycombe.

Hughenden Primary School released the following statement on its website today:

“The whole school community were extremely saddened to hear of the deaths of Adnan Habib, who was in year 6, and Mohammed Arsalaan Habib who was in Reception, in a car accident on Christmas Day. Our thoughts and prayers are for the family and all those affected by this tragic accident.”

The family were travelling to a wedding in Manchester when their car overturned on the northbound carriageway between junctions 14 and 15 near Stoke-on-Trent. The boys’ mother, who was driving, survived, as did another female passenger. Both women have been discharged from hospital following treatment after the crash.
