Work off those Xmas pounds for charity
THOSE already getting set to work off some of the pounds put on over the Christmas period will get the chance to raise some cash for charity in the process if they sign up for the 2013 Chilterns Cycle Challenge.
Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care is calling upon supporters to put in some pedal power to help raise funds for its vital nursing services.
The challenge will be setting off from Aylesbury Town on Sunday, March 24. It caters for everyone with three different length routes to take part in, ranging from rides suitable for the whole family, to those perhaps more suitable for the rider in need of a challenge.
Fern Britton, a television presenter and committed supporter of IRGH will be joining the cyclists again. "I can promise everyone who signs up for this event a fantastic day. After an exhilarating cycle ride through the glorious Chilterns countryside, there’s a wonderful sense of achievement when you cross the finishing line"
