SCANNAPPEAL are asking readers to keep that New Year’s resolution and help cancer patients in the area.
The charity suggests getting together with friends, family and colleagues, or going solo to lose pounds to raise money for Scannappeal by taking part in its seventh annual sponsored slim.
Starting on Monday, January 14 for eight weeks, there will be weekly dietary and fitness tips and prizes for the slimmer that raises the most sponsorship.
Optional weigh in and weigh out sessions will be held with all information kept confidential, starting early evening on January 14 at either High Wycombe Cricket Club, Amersham Hospital or Wycombe Hospital.
Download an information pack at www.scannappeal.org.uk/events or call 01494 734161.
All proceeds will go towards the £500,000 Digital Breast Screening Appeal for Wycombe Hospital to create a totally digital breast screening service, making Bucks one of the few counties to offer such a facility and radically improving diagnosis of early breast cancer.
