THE son of Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson is coming to Marlow on Wednesday for a special live radio tribute to his father, who died recently.

Jamie Anderson will be the star guest on Marlow FM's show on Wednesday from midday.

Veteran voice artist David Graham, whose characters included Parker and Brains will be calling into the show to give his memories of Mr Anderson, who also created Stingray and Captain Scarlet.

Jay Mullins, from Fanderson, the official fan club, will also be joining in with the conversation by phone.

The guests will join presenter Paul Mansell and fellow Marlow FM volunteer Chris Zaremba who has pulled this special together.

Mr Mansell said: “Rather than a detailed analysis or serious tribute, this will be a fond look at some of Gerry’s TV and film work plus related music.

“Listeners can hear a live stream of the show by clicking the listen button on our website or by tuning in on 97.5FM.”

So sad to hear of Gerry's death. I watched so many of his shows and my son also has become a big fan. RIP.

I hope they've informed Twizzle, Torchy (The Battery boy),Mike Mercury, Steve Zodiac, all the Tracey family, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90.
I still can't find when the funeral will take place... When I called I was told not to be a Nosy Parker... ;-)
