POLICE are becoming "increasingly worried" about a teenager who has been missing from her High Wycombe home since last week.
Samreen Ahmed, 15, was last seen at home at 2pm on Wednesday. She said she was going to High Wycombe town centre to meet friends.
Det Sgt Yasmin Dean, leading the search, said: “We are increasingly worried about Samreen’s welfare. She has been missing for five days and even with the help of friends she must be running out of funds and means of support.
“We just need her to get in touch and let us know that she is OK.”
Her parents issued the following appeal: “Samreen, we are really worried about you and we just want you to get in touch and let us know that you are safe. We love you lots and are missing you terribly.”
She is described as 5ft tall, of slim build, with very long dyed brown hair, brown eyes and she may be wearing glasses. She has two earring studs in each ear and a stud in the upper left ear.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey waist-length coat with brown buttons and black ankle boots.
Officers said Samreen is known to have contacts in the Leicester area.
Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact Det Sgt Yasmin Dean on 101 as a matter of urgency.
