A 78-YEAR-old man has been arrested after a woman was pushed over in Cookham Rise.
Police said between 4 and 5pm on January 4 a 58-year-old woman was walking along Station Hill with a man.
As they walked past Brent de Clippers hairdressers, police said the man pushed the victim over and she banged her head against a parked car.
She sustained swelling and bruising to her cheek.
A 78-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail until January 14.
Police want to talk to anyone who saw the incident or the two people walking along the road beforehand.
