Perhaps if people stopped running these lights these things would stop happening.

Is this an actual photo of a news event that's happened in Wycombe? I'm impressed.

It is a strange intersection. There is a traffic signalled bus lane High Wycombe Town bound but buses never use it. Weird.

Some of them do but most of the time it makes things worse because the traffic is backed up and prevents the buses going anywhere anyway.

Disgracefully designed junction by a bunch of incompetents. Surprising that it doesn't happen at least twice a day.

Roundabout required, as in most other junctions in High Wycombe. One might consider that after nearly 40 years of the experience of the Marlow Hill magic roundabout, that roundabouts actually work! Why are they being replaced by traffic lights when everywhere else is replacing expensive, dangerous(check the statistics) and inefficient traffic lights with roundabouts.

Who knows who has a contract with the suppliers of lights and power.

The magic roundabout would work an awful lot better if there were not a silly amount of traffic lights on Amersham Hill.

A set at the bottom of the road jctn with High st, A set further up before junction with Castle St, A random set just after that followed by another pedestrian crossing just after that! WHY!!!

I remember some years back when a vehicle took out the lights at the bottom of the hill and vehicles had to treat the High St as a stop & give way - worked so much better!

Personally I have never had any trouble with this junction!! ... But I have seen many jumping red lights etc!!
I hope both parties involved are OK
