New play equipment planned for Risborough

COUNCILLORS would like to see money from developers spent on new play equipment in Monks Risborough.

At Princes Risborough Town Council meeting on Tuesday night it was discussed how to spend £71,000 and £8,000 from 106 monies.

Section 106 monies comes from developers and are flag marked for a certain criteria, in this case open spaces and in a certain area in the town.

It was decided the £71,000 should be put towards new play equipment in St Dunstan's.

The £8,000 will be spent on improvement to Windsor Playing Fields. Both will go to the town committee meeting to put together a plan.

I am ususally critical of PRTC but they are good at kids' playgrounds.
