THE pool at the Wycombe Rye Lido will be closed until February.

Fusion Lifestyle, which runs the leisure complex on The Rye in High Wycombe, said the closure is due to a technical problem with disinfecting the outdoor pool.

The pool is expected to reopen on February 1, Fusion said.

To be fair this is a good idea anyway - It would take some very brave people to be swimming outdoors in this weather!!

If the pool is heated then it's a shame it's closed. The one at Uxbridge was left without heating despite £31m being spent on restoring it and has to close in winter which seems a bit silly to me as could be bringing money in
