Bourne End's Forum Players head to Camelot

AMATEUR actors travel back to the days of brave knights and fair maidens in the latest Bourne End panto.

The Forum Players are preparing to stage Camelot at the Community Centre this month - a new production from writer Ben Crocker.

As usual there’s a hero and heroine whose path of true love is fraught with problems.

But you can also look out for the supernatural skills of Morgan le Fay and the wizard Merlin, love the amorous bear called Teddy and laugh along at Laughalot the Jester.

The Players are promising a great show, with lots of audience participation and children invited on stage to sing-along with some of the actors before the end.

On Saturday, January 19 there are two performances, at 2.30 and 6.30pm. On Sunday, January 20 there is one show at 2.30pm. Then on Saturday, January 26 there are two shows again at 2.30 and 6.30pm.

As usual senior citizens have their free performance on Wednesday, January 16 at 8pm.

Tickets are available in the library in Wakeman Road at £9 for adults, £7 for concessions and £28 for a family ticket of two adults and two children. Details on 01628 523291.

That looks like a real teddy and not Chloe Robinson (if it refers to the individual on the right of the photo).
