LOUDWATER British Legion will host a Valentine’s dinner and dance on Saturday, February 16, with the proceeds going to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund. From 7 - 11pm. Smart dress - dinner jackets if possible. DJ Fred (alias Ricco) will be playing ballroom, rock ‘n’ roll and jive music, with a tombola, raffle, pay bar and prize for the best dressed. FLACKWELL Heath Community Library's children's art competition on the theme of Winter attracted around 100 entries from Loudwater, Juniper Hill and Carrington Schools pupils. The winners in the four age categories were Lee Bampton, Julia Kozbial, Shavelle Lovelace-Hall and Sydney Neve Prowse. Prizes for the winners were donated by Sainsbury’s Local in Flackwell Heath.

WYE Valley School in Bourne End is hosting a Race Night on Friday, January 25 to raise money for pupils' Zambia Exchange Programme. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £5, call 01628 819022 or email office@wyevalley.bucks.sch.uk
