Samreen Ahmed spotted in Glasgow

A 15-YEAR-OLD who has been missing from her home in Wycombe for more than a week has been spotted in Glasgow, police say.

Officers are continuing to search for Samreen Ahmed, who was last seen on January 2 when she said she was meeting friends in High Wycombe town centre.

She has since been seen with a 20-year-old man, Muhammed Shoyab Khalifa (pictured above) and may still be with him, officers added.

The pair were spotted boarding a train to Birmingham Moor Street and were last seen in Circus Drive, in Glasgow’s East End, on Thursday.

Samreen is described as 5ft tall, of slim build, with very long dyed brown hair, brown eyes and she may be wearing glasses. She has two earring studs in each ear and a stud in the upper left ear.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey waist-length coat with brown buttons and black ankle boots.

She is also known to have contacts in the Leicester area.

Det Sgt Sally Spencer, leading the search said: “We are increasingly worried about Samreen’s welfare. She has been missing for ten days now and even with the help of friends she must be running out of funds and means of support.”

Her parents also issued an appeal earlier this week: “Samreen, we are really worried about you and we just want you to get in touch and let us know that you are safe.

“We love you lots and are missing you terribly.”

Anyone who knows of Samreen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Det Sgt Sally Spencer on 101 as a matter of urgency.
