POLICE have warned residents to be alert after a series of burglaries in Booker last night.

Three properties in Graham Drive, Highwood Avenue and Bookerhill Road were burgled between around 5.15pm and 5.40pm.

Det Sgt Robin Hughes said: “We are asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to us after these properties were burgled yesterday.

“We are also trying to trace a man who was in an alleyway next to Graham Drive at around 8am this morning.

“The man is white, around 20 years old and is short and stocky. He was wearing a tight beanie hat and a dark blue top.”
