THE Flackwell Heath campus of Amersham & Wycombe College has an open day on Tuesday. The recently completed Construction Skills Centre, which has courses in plumbing, electrical, construction, painting and decorating, plastering and environmental technologies will put on ‘Have a Go’ activities from 4 - 6.30pm on the day. FLACKWELL HEATH British Legion has music from the ‘Silver Fox’ Eddie Markey tonight from 8pm. Free entry but donations are welcome.

PLANS to build a three-bedroom house in Kiln Lane, Bourne End, have been submitted to Wycombe District Council. The scheme for land next to Formoso includes a detached garage and retention of access from Grassy Lane.

THE Bourne End (Bucks) Twinning Association’s annual dance night will be held on Saturday, January 26 at Flackwell Heath Community Centre. This year will be a Square Dance with hot supper and dessert served, as well as a licensed bar.  All welcome. Tickets cost members £11 and non-members £12, and are available from David on 01628 52 00 65.
