THE trial into ten counts of alleged fraud amounting to £28,000 by a former Hughenden Parish Council clerk started today.

Lynne Turner, 50, of Tancred Road, High Wycombe appeared at Oxford Crown Court today for the start of the trial.

At the end of last year she pleaded not guilty to ten counts of fraud amounting to £28,000.

The alleged fraud was said to have taken place between August 2010 and May 2011, while she was employed at the parish council.

She worked at the parish council for 17 years.

The trial continues tomorrow.
