POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a girl was seriously injured in a road collision during Friday's heavy snowfall.
At about 11.25am a collision occurred involving a silver Mercedes and an 11-year-old girl in Totteridge Road.
The car was travelling along Totteridge Road when it was in collision with the girl, who was stood on the pavement at the time.
The driver stopped to administer first aid the girl, who was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious leg injuries.
The injured girl, whose condition is described as stable, was returning home from school at the time of the incident and police believe other school pupils may have witnessed the incident.
