WYCOMBE Wanderers away clash with Bradford City tomorrow has been postponed following a pitch inspection of the Coral Windows Stadium playing surface.

Freezing temperatures of recent nights - including around minus seven on Thursday night - have resulted in the pitch being deemed too hard in places to play on by the inspecting local match official.

The pitch itself is still also covered by a few inches of snow.

More snow is also being predicted for Friday afternoon/evening - and Bradford City says the desire to give Wycombe a sensible answer ahead of their scheduled trip north today also contributed to the decision to postpone the game.

Bradford City made history on Tuesday night when they beat Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa in the semi-final of the League Cup, securing them a place at Wembley for the final.

No new date for the fixture has been confirmed as of yet
