BURGLARS broke into three Marlow properties, stealing mobile phones, a computer and cash.

The spate of crimes occurred between the evening of Friday, January 18, and the following morning.

It has prompted an appeal by police, who are treating two as linked.

A handbag and £20 was taken from the first home in Spring Gardens while a black leather jacket, BlackBerry mobile phone, Acer laptop and Apple iPad were stolen from a house in Herons Place.

Between 3.15am and 3.45am on the Saturday morning offenders broke into a business in Liston Court and stole four mobile phones.

A witness saw a man running way towards Cromwell Gardens.

He was white, aged between 25 and 30-years-old, wearing a dark woollen hat and light coloured tracksuit with possibly a brown jacket.
