Colin Baker becomes President for Wycombe Arts Festival

BUCKS Free Press columnist and recent star of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Colin Baker, has become President of The Wycombe Arts Festival.

Colin Baker is best known of course as the sixth incarnation of The Doctor in the popular Doctor Who series.

The next Wycombe Arts Festival runs from April 27 to June 2 with a wide range of musical events including jazz, chamber and orchestral concerts, photographic and art exhibitions, theatre productions, National Trust walks, storytelling and talks on subjects.

Colin said: "I am honoured and delighted to accept the invitation to be the Honorary President of the Wycombe Arts Festival.

"I already am well aware of the breadth and wealth of talent in the local area and also of the willingness of the local community to support local events and the celebration of excellence in all of the Arts, when given the opportunity. I hope that my own performing schedule allows me the opportunity to come along and enjoy at least some of the exciting events this Spring."
