TWO pupils took first prize in bringing the message home to stop speeding in Princes Risborough.

The town's Neighbourhood Action Group’s (NAG) challenged pupils at Princes Risborough School, Monks Risborough School and Princes Risborough Primary School to design a poster which would make drivers slow down.

One of the NAG's priorities is to reduce speeding throughout the area.

After much deliberation the designs submitted by Calum Collins of Princes Risborough School and Abigail Bedford-Orchart from Princes Risborough Primary School were chosen as the winners.

Both winners received a £25 voucher of their choice and the designs will be made into large weather proof signs to be displayed in identified speeding areas.

A Vehicle Activated Sign is already in use in the area.

Great design for a worthy cause. I was wondering if it can be used in other areas where speeding is a problem.
