Thieves steal cash from pensioner's home
THIEVES used physical force against a pensioner before stealing cash from his Stokenchurch home, police said.
Three white men in their late teens or early twenties, who were all between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 10ins tall, broke into the house in Springfield Road at 6.45pm on Thursday.
Once inside, police said the thieves “used physical force” against the 82-year-old man before making off with a quantity of money.
The resident was unharmed in the incident, officers said.
PC Thomas Roberts said: “I am currently seeking anyone in the Stokenchurch area that may have seen the offenders in the area where the burglary took place.
“Any information could be vital and assist in the investigation to identify the people responsible.”
