Marlow Inspector retires Marlow Inspector retires

INSPECTOR Ray Wilks will serve his last day in the police force today after a distinguished 30 year career.

After an eventful past two years during which he was a commander at Eton Dorney for the Olympic rowing events and was called in to help combat the London riots, Insp Wilks is set for retirement.

He said: "I've got mixed feelings, obviously I do feel a bit sad, you can't help but feel that after such a long time and I very much enjoy the work still."

There will be a full interview with Insp Wilks in the Marlow Free Press next week.

He could not cope with juvenile thugs and yobs of Marlow so might as well quit.
