Planning applications: Hotel group wants to build 32 apartments
A HOTEL group wants to build 32 serviced apartments in High Wycombe.
The proposed site is on the corner of Desborough Park Road and West Wycombe Road, and the scheme would involve the demolition of 193 – 197 West Wycombe Road.
Buckingham Hotel Group, which is based on West Wycombe Road and also runs the Wendover Arms, has submitted the plans to Wycombe District Council.
The site already has planning permission for a 16-bed multiple occupancy house, but this project has not gone ahead.
Serviced apartments usually have cooking facilities, are available for short or long-term stays and can be less expensive than equivalent hotel rooms.

Wycombe District Council:
