POWER tools and gardening equipment have been stolen from work vans in Princes Risborough.

A van was broken into between 6.30pm on February 10 and 7am on 11 in Northfield Road.

And another was broken into between 4pm on February 16 and 4pm on the 18 in Wycombe Road. Power tools and electrical gardening equipment were stolen.

Police have asked residents to be vigilant if they store tools in their vehicle overnight and to ensure tools are security marked with a postcode/name and the make, model and serial numbers are documented.

Taking photographs of your tools and equipment can also help the police to reunite any recovered property to its rightful owner.
