Uncertainty remains over Risborough Post Office

THE future of the Post Office in Princes Risborough still remains uncertain.

Lloyds Pharmacy, where the service is currently housed, has indicated it no longer wishes to run the Post Office.

The Post Office told the Free Press at the start of February they are in discussions with a new applicant.

At Tuesday night's Princes Risborough Town Council meeting Bill Bendyshe-Brown said at the moment the Post Office hasn't received a formal application from the new applicant but they are in final negotiations.

Cllr Gary Hall said: "Not only is our Post Office in some measure of doubt- we have lost our delivery office.

"The whole service is not good to say the least."
