How long have you been coming here for? For about 25 years now. I come in most nights at about 9pm for a pint and a chat with everyone.

What has kept you coming back all these years? I just feel comfortable, every time you go in the people are friendly, I help them, they help me. It’s become like my front room.

Does the pub hold any events or food? They do a few themed events, food and music nights, and the terrace out the front is always busy. The food is very good and I must give a special mention to the sandwiches, which are excellent.

Where do you sit? Round the corner of the bar stool against the wall. It is first-come first-served as it’s the hot spot. It’s comfortable and you can everything that’s going on in the bar.

What do you drink? Guinness.
