A MAN was hit in the head with a dumbbell and threatened with a knife by a group of men in an aggravated burglary in High Wycombe this week.

At around 11.30pm on Monday, five men knocked on the door of a residence in Perth Road. When the door was opened, they forced the occupant into the bedroom.

Half the group went into another room where they assaulted another occupant by hitting him in the head with a dumbbell and threatened him with a knife. Both victims were men, aged 26 and 36.

The intruders searched both rooms but left without taking any property apart from a kitchen knife, which was bright sky blue with a plastic handle and a six inch blade.

The man holding the knife is described as black, around 5ft 4ins tall, of average build with a dark complexion. He had a thin face and short cut black hair possibly with facial hair and wearing a black tracksuit.

A second intruder is described as Asian, around 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build, light skinned with short black hair and a thick beard.

The third offender, also holding a knife, is described as black, around 6ft 1in tall, of slim build wearing black clothing. He had an indent scar on his right cheek just above his lip and spoke with a London accent.

The intruder holding the dumbbell was tall, around 6ft 3ins, of big build with his face covered.

The victims received no serious injury and did not require hospital treatment.
