Prince William and Kate to visit south Bucks

PRINCE William and Kate will make an official visit to south Bucks this month, the palace has announced.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit the offices of Child Bereavement UK which are based at The Clare Charity Centre in Saunderton on March 19.

William became patron of the charity, which was formerly based in West Wycombe, in March 2009.

The Royal couple, who are expecting their first baby in July, will meet staff from the charity's bereavement services and training and fundraising teams.

They will then meet bereaved families involved in the Children and Young People's Service, the Young People's Advisory Group and a Parents' Support Group.

The charity, which was formerly called the Child Bereavement Charity, supports families and educates professionals when a baby or a child of any ages dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

Prince William and Kate attended a London gala in October 2011 to raise money for the charity, where the Duchess wore a stunning red dress by Beulah London.

They were guests of honour at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds London Gala where Prince William gave a speech about the important work the charity does.

He said at the gala, which raised more than £675,000, he had "quiet pride" for Child Bereavement UK.
