TORY MP James Gray has seen his local party pull its support.
The North Wiltshire Conservative, who has represented the area since 1997, has been shocked that the local party executive voted against him standing in the next general election.
Mr Gray has been heavily criticised since it became public that he had an affair with hunt activist Philippa Mayo from Leicestershire while his wife Sarah was being treated for cancer.
The Grays are now going through divorce proceedings.
Now there will be a postal ballot of North Wiltshire Tories, which Mr Gray says he hopes to win.
